Go Air Airlines

Go Air is a domestic no frill airline founded in Mumbai, India owned by Wadia Group, preponderance owners of Bombay Dyeing and Britannia Industries. Go Air airlines intend to be the lowest-cost airline in India and will supply passengers a comfortable and affordable option to all well admired holiday and business destinations across India It is owned by Jahangir Wadia, the great-grandson of Muhammad Ali Jinnah, origin father of Pakistan.

Go Air airlines was recognized in 2006. It has launched its commercial operations on 4 June 2007. It is now completely owned by the Wadia Group, Mumbai based and majority owners of Bombay Dyeing and Britannia Industries.

Service
Being a no-frills airline, Go Air airlines does not provide any complimentary meal service to its passengers. However, it does offer a buy-on-board service where food items such as sandwiches, parathas, cookies, nuts, soft drinks and Mineral water can be obtained. But from 9 April 2009 Go Air airlines has started a recent premium service known as Go Business in which the fliers, at a little higher fare, are guaranteed of seats in the first two rows of the aircraft and the middle seat are always empty. Go Air provides free meals on board to travellers travelling on Go Business.

GoAir Fleet
Go Air airlines functions four A320 aircraft with a sole class, 180-seat configuration, and plans to expand its fleet to 33 aircraft in three years.

GoAir Sectors
Go Air airlines path network spans famous business and leisure destinations, across India. The route network will offer a value for money choice for both business and leisure travellers, without cooperating on their safety or service. Go Air airlines works between popular segments like Mumbai to Ahmedabad, Delhi to Mumbai, Chennai to Delhi, Bangalore to Ahmadabad and Mumbai to Goa flight ticket booking. Go Air will soon cover more ways like Bhavnagar, Aurangabad, Kolhapur, Rajkot, Bhopal, Madurai and Kozhikode, at reasonable prices in the upcoming months. Adding new destinations to aid travel will be part of Go Air's insistent strategy.

The operations with the new aircraft were happened on November 4, 2005. In July 2006, an command for 10 more aircraft from the Airbus A320 family was declared by GoAir. In mid-January 2007, the airline revealed that it would trade a large alternative ownership position to help it with finance, for its growth. Moreover, the airline intended to improve its likelihood for the sale and leaseback of further A320 aircraft. On January 24, 2007, Go Air and airline reservations system provider Radix International of Orlando, Florida, mutually announced the invasion of the airline's reservations and passenger functions by Radixx.

Latest Developments
In order to reinforce its service in South India, Go Air airlines declared the addition of new flights - from Bangalore to Delhi and return, and from Bangalore to Mumbai and return, in June 2009. The Go Air Airlines has previously introduced a couple of new aircrafts in March and April 2009 as well as declared the induction of one brand new A320 aircraft in June 2009. With a vision to increase passengers' expediency and keeping in mind their travel time, Go Air has initiated new flight timings for destinations including Ahmadabad, Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore.
